Aeration in Strongsville
Fall Core Aeration is an ESSENTIAL part of any Strongsville annual lawn program. After a year of lawn activities, mowing, and changing climate conditions, the ground may become dense and compacted. Core aeration breaks up hard compacted soil and thatch, by using a machine to pull 2”-3” “dirt cores” from the ground. By doing so, core aeration allows easier delivery of air, water, and nutrients to the turf’s roots. This makes for a healthier solid lawn and helps root development.
Core aeration can also help restore a thinning lawn, especially when teamed with overseeding.
